So, for game 3d modeling there is blender. What do I do for game audio development?
For example if I wanted to create sounds such as a door opening or the sound of a waterfall or various other sounds and sound effects, where do I start?
Any tips or links to good tutorials, free to use applications for audio development would be much appreciated.
Ok thanks. I will look into it. From initial looks the free tool you posted lmms or Linux MultiMedia Studio appears to be suitable for me right now. Nice that the developers of lmms decided to make a windows version.
