Research Survey - MMORPG Player Races

Hi everyone, and thank you for your interest.

I am doing a survey on people who play MMORPG’s. The survey is about what Races you would or would not like in an MMORPG, and if you would play them or not.

On average it took people about 5 minutes, although it took some longer. The survey is about 4 Realms, each with about 9 races, and you just rate if you like or dislike them. Doesn’t take long if you just go with what you think.

It’s fun too! The races are innovative in design.

I think I know who it is, if they’re teasing. If they’re serious, not only do I not know who it is…but O.o the game isn’t going to be 3D, lol.

All the pics I pulled from the internet. You have no idea how hard it was to find a four armed human that wasn’t a red guy from a cartoon series, or the shokan from Mortal Kombat… LOL!

Just to give you some results, with more than 40 people taking the survey, the results are as follows:

Scores are a total of the % of people who chose “Love” or “Like” on a race. This shows the most well liked to the least liked.

So the first shows that 73% of people Love or Like the Treant.

Currently, there have been more results since then, and Minotaur is now the most well liked by 3 points at 74 (Treant and the others are 71)

Over 50 surveyers… so here are the results!
At the bottom, I posted the resullts in all categories of MOST and LEAST in each category.
Ex. Most Hated, Least Hated. Most Disliked/Hated, Least Disliked/Hated.

Below that, I put ALL INFORMATION of these races.

The following races were in the survey, but NOT the results. These results were of my own, and took an hour, so I didn’t have the time to do the extras. Also, Dinosaur is in the list but was not surveyed.

These were also removed from the game: Wraith Demon, Traditional Demon, Orc, Insectoid, Drakeling Human (which was one of the most popular Tribes Races…), Four Armed Human.

Here are some honorable mentions:

Skeleton. This race was quite popular…AND unpopular!
Of the Unrest Realm… Skeleton was the most Liked/Loved, the most Loved, the most Liked, the Least Disliked…and the MOST HATED!

Human. This race was the ONLY race to not score a SINGLE hate vote. No one hates themselves! Hurray!!!

Elf Dark Elf were only hated by one person-- and it was probably the same guy! LoL!

Ratlings are the most hated and least liked of all. Nobody wants to play a ratling huh!? Only 9% loved them. Poor things :frowning:
