Hi,
I made a small change to a script in my project, and when the script was built it killed the project. I’m presented with two blank error warnings. Attempting to play the project will result in the usual “All compiler errors must be fixed…”. I deleted both the scripts I had been working on (the only ones I had modified all morning) but no luck. Reimported all assets, deleted the Library folder but nothing fixed. Not entirely sure what to do in this situation.
Ignore the warning below, it’s just the usual one about line endings. Unity 5.2, Windows 8.1. Will probably upgrade to 5.3 if I can’t figure out the error soon, but I’d prefer not to make a version change in the middle of a project. Looks like we’ve got a mystery on our hands, Scoob.
EDIT: Upgraded to the latest 5.3, which fixed my issue. Have a new problem now where lots of my materials look way different than before…not sure if the settings were changed or not. Guess I’ll make a new thread.
DOUBLE EDIT: To fix my lighting issue I ended up re-installing 5.2.2, which also fixed the issue in case anyone out there is having this problem and didn’t want to upgrade!
