[Resolved] Maya 2010 Mac zooming problem

I am currently learning Maya 2010 and have a problem that I could not find the answer to via Google, forums, etc… Maybe someone here knows the answer. It is probably an iD10-T error.

My zoom stopped working… I am on a MacBook Pro 1,1 using the track pad and I was editing an object when the polygon tools stopped working. I restarted Maya and the tools work again, but the zoom does not. I can still rotate and pan and I have access to the hotboxes, but no zoom.

I checked the Maya Prefs and scroll wheel is still checked and it is still set on single button for mouse controls. Is there another setting somewhere I may have inadvertently unchecked or checked that would cause the viewport to not allow zooming?

Thanks in advance.

I’ve had this happen with every version of Maya I’ve used. I never found a way to fix it. Except stop using Maya, which is the route I took. :stuck_out_tongue:

It must have been a corruption in one of the program files, I reinstalled and the zoom works again.

Never had this problem on a PC.

And I thought the Maya Mac port was getting better. :frowning:
