How to retain changes made in the Game Inspector into the scene? Has I am spinning on this, I just thought of a way... but, is this the proper way to do that?
I just did it and it worked...
- Select the object where changes were made while Game window is playing.
- Press Ctrl-C to clip object
- Stop play to go back to scene context
- Delete same object in scene
Paste with Ctrl-V in scene
It may be possible to do a Ctrl-X then paste, or just paste on top of existing object.
- Object may need to be placed in its proper hierarchy, if child of another object.
There's an editor script that AngryAnt wrote that copies values in the inspector and lets you paste them. This allows you to do what you're talking about.
