I’m working making an update to an existing game and started to get this warning in Xcode:
Retina 4 Support
Missing “Default-568h@x2.png”
I’ve checked my target and the correct launch image is there, both in the Libraries folder and in the target Summary. Anyone know what this is about? Should I re-add the image or just ignore the warning.
I’ve gotten this as well, I just delete the image in xcode then drag and drop it into xcode again, make sure you have the copy to destination folder if required is checked. Xcode will copy it to where it needs to be and the warning will go away. There maybe an easer way, but this works for me.
By the way, I just checked out Infinity Project 2 and wanted to say well done! It looks like a huge game, you must have spent a long time on this project. I just left you a 5-star review on the app store. Hope you keep getting more positive reviews and some press coverage.
My only feedback would be that the intro is a tad long and my iPad fell asleep in the middle of it. So either make it a bit shorter, or disable device sleep during the cutscenes. Otherwise it’s a really impressive project.
Oh, and you should check out the Space Graphics Toolkit, it’s got amazing planets and would really give your Earth a great look.
