Rigidbodies bounce chaotically

I am making a puzzle game in which you spawn blocks on physics (simple cubes, ramps etc). Spawning works - I make them appear a few centimetres above ground, also you cant spawn when they are colliding with anything. But if I spawn more blocks one above another, then they often bounce off at high speeds, while they should slowly settle down as gravity tells them to. Default physics materials.

What can I do to prevent such behavior ?

Okay, found solution. I just set rigidbody depenetration speed to 1 and the problem is gone.
