Rigidbody character controller and moving platforms..?

Hey there, I’m currently working on a 2D game in unity where my player needs to be controlled by a rigid body instead of a character controller, and I’m having trouble getting moving platform support working properly…

After researching all day I am still at a standstill… I’ve tried everything from trying to create physics materials for the moving platform and player to parenting the player to a collider object on the moving platform and nothing seems to work. The player just won’t follow the platform…

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a simple way to fix this, just the the animate physics check box on the animation component of the platform. The platform also needs to be a kinematic rigid body.
