Rigidbody player goes through a rigidbody object when moving

I move the player using Rigidbody.AddForce player and the object both have continuous dynamic collision detection, as well as colliders.

Player can push the object, but if they hold a movement key and go in the object they will easily clip through it. Setting the player to kinematic prevents that from happening, but kinematic objects don’t use gravity and get stuck often, so that is out of the question.
