I wanted to post on here and tell you about the Unity game I’m currently working on called Robots Love Ice Cream. I am building it in Unity for the iPad/iPad2. It’s the first release for my indie company, Addo Games.
The game puts you in the role of an ice cream truck driver that travels across the galaxy defending planets from robotic invaders. Your weapon of choice? Delicious weaponized ice cream treats that you can launch at the robotic invaders.

You can download the title track for free from the Kickstarter page. One of the composers who worked on the title song is Disasterpeace, who is also doing music for the upcoming XBL game Fez. He’s slated to work on the rest of the soundtrack as well.
The gameplay in the video is only a mechanics demo. The final game will feature vinyl-toy like 3d characters.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. I’ve got a presentation I’m doing in Atlanta in a few weeks on the game and will have a lot more to show in terms of gameplay. The gameplay in the video is literally an Illustrator comp brought to life to test gameplay mechanics at a basic level.
