My first go at creating an Android game is coming along nicely and time has come for some beta testing as I am keen to see how it performs on various devices and also what the general feedback is of the game.

First of all, the game is called Rocket Box and you can have a peak at:

You can follow the development of the game (although it’s pretty much just level making that remains to be done) at Redirecting... - it will get an official page outside of Facebook as well.

I want to make you aware that after installing the game on your Android device it will ask you to register with an e-mail address. It will also send what Unity provides with the SystemInfo command so I can see the processor type, graphic chip, etc. Then after each round it will upload details such as your score (so I can set the star awards appropriately) and your lowest and minimum FPS recorded for the round so I can see how the game performs on various devices.

Cool , though don’t expect to recoup your investment on android

It can be quite tricky but I’m trying to get the level progression as good as possible with the Boot Camp levels being vary basic.

I’m not sure what to expect on Android - I’ve put a fair share of hours into the game and it’s to test out whether it’s worth making games or not. Have you got some “bad” experience from getting lost in the sea of apps/games on Google Play - or is the money just not there?
