Roll a ball question

Here is the problem. When I apply a roll-a-ball script to a rigidbody sphere, or even write my own, when I don't press anything, it stays still, even on a slanted slope, when it should roll off. This would make a game ridiculously easy, as to stop, all you need to do is to stop pressing buttons. How can I overcome this problem?

The rool-a-ball script is that not only for Android and Iphone devices?

post your script, it always helps. Be more precise, otherwise you wont get the answer your looking for. Tell us what roll-a-ball means, do you just want it to roll about freely? if so then you don't need a script. Is the ball your player? if so then it's to do with your add force feature, your input settings in editor, or your input settings in the script. Without any information you wont get any information, let's call it a trade rather than you demanding answers for nothing!

  1. Make sure your ball is not kinematic.
  2. Make sure your physics material isn't all slippery.
  3. Make sure you're calling rigidbody.AddTorque and not transform.Rotate.
