Hey all,
so, I have three days left with my Unity3D Trial, time to present the community what I’ve done with it
The Game is, or will be, a simple “Marble” and “Jump’n’Run” Game. I made three different characters.
The " " can perform a double jump, just press space in the air.
The " >:[ " can explode. Press and hold shift or “E”.
And the last one, “O_o”, can float. Shift or “E” to become some kind of baloon.
There are three test-level, one tutorial (text is in german, sorry) and the first level.
In the finished game, you can login with your account on my website to save your progress. as for now, you can only collect an item once, but it won’t be saved if you restart the game.
Well, hope you like it
Will buy Unity3D soon, after I modelled the second level.[/img]
@dexter
it’s a normal skybox. well, a “demo skycube”, cause it’s impossible to get a good and free “space”-skybox.
there is even a watermark on it will repelace the skybox later on.
@soad
yes, marble-like games are cool, but I try to go in a little different way, more plattforming etc.
@angryant
yes, it was the first time, that I really enjoyed making a game
everything was just so easy, I wanted to do something and it worked a few minutes after. Think I will stay for a while with unity!
Oh, and I forgot to say: the music is from space station silicon valley. it’s a total unique game AND soundtrack. if anyone can get his hands on that n64 game: play it! one of the best and interesting game ever
@boomaster
so, you flew over the island? I always thought, that a lower framerate or something can differ the launch-power of the canon, but couldn’t test it.
have to look into this, thanks!
