I have recently had it with some of these assets especially RPG Builder by Blink. This asset has been abandoned for nearly two years and the Dev is still making money on it? Why and how? I have sent in a complaint to the Asset Store Team hoping they do the right thing and remove it. It is just getting crazy seeing assets that are no longer supported not be deprecated being sold. This just shows that the asset store is not looking out for their customers and rather make money on poor and unfinished assets.
Lets make it get taken down again… Thomas refuses to update someothing that is bugged and unsupported. People still paying for this assets are getting ripped off. Why is it still available?
For one, he was busy with other stuff and life. Which he mentioned several times. As for it being removed only because thomas had put it on github for free to use without any assets. He is making a whole new database called spark. Instead of talking bad about someone maybe go to them and talk man to man, not do it on a forum.
Eh Thomas has stupid delusion of grandeur people that make crap up and state it as fact, try to prove it with cards and screenshots that don’t even come close to mentioning what he swears by, and his mods are unreal people don’t even use unity. Ridiculous, clearly was only around to rip people off.
If you are stopping support on a product and never update it in over two years with LOTS of bugs. If real life gets the way for any asset dev and you cannot provide updates, you should deprecate the asset and move on. Not make money on something that is broken and not working.
