RPG Editor: ORK Framework 3

After a year of development and an extensive beta period I’m happy to announce that ORK Framework 3 is now officially released on available in the Asset Store.

ORK is an RPG framework for Unity and has been available since 2010 - this new, 3rd installation comes with a bunch of quality-of-life features, modernizations and overall improvements. ORK is now an extension for my other product Makinom 2, but don’t worry, all you need is included in your ORK 3 version (including the full ORK 3 and Makinom 2 C# source codes).

All you need!
ORK Framework 3 comes with everything you need to create your RPG, any way you want. 4 customizable battle systems (and battle grids), extremely flexible status system, formula editor, inventory system, factions, quests, crafting, dialogues and much, much more!
2D, 3D, top down, first person - whatever you need, ORK can handle it.

There’s a long list of features, ORK has grown since 2010, after all - you can read more about other features in the Asset Store page.

There’s extensive documentation and tutorials available to guide you, including several long-running series, starting a project from scratch, building it piece by piece.

The tutorials also contain downloads for the completed projects, in case you want to check them out (using ORK’s free test version).
The next tutorial series will start later this week and focus on 2D top down grid battles.

Try ORK 3
You can test ORK 3, just download the free test version.
The tutorials can be completed with the test version - if you want to upgrade to the full version, you can simply import it into the project.

Purchase ORK 3
You can get ORK 3 in the Unity Asset Store for $100.

Upgrading from ORK 2
If you already own ORK 2 or even ORK 1, you can upgrade your license to ORK 3 for $50. If you’ve purchased in 2021 until ORK 3’s launch (i.e. between January 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022), you’ll get the upgrade to ORK 3 for free (check the Asset Store for that).

However, your ORK 2 projects are not compatible with ORK 3. An upgrade tool is planned, but it’ll not be available for some time and will not be able to upgrade your full project due to the many changes.
