RPG - Project Calamity (WIP)

Hello fellow developers,
As you might already know, i have been working on a role playing game for about 4 months now(i could be wrong, time flys when your having fun). Here i will post screenshots, information and answer any questions. I would love if you could help me out by giving me any constructive criticism!

Each week i made a video of the games progress, here is the first video.

Update 1 - June 2

And here is the latest update,

Update 10 - October 28

I don’t know about you but i love to see how far the game has come in such a short amount of time. You can check out all 10 of the updates.

I leave you with screen shots;

Thanks for your time.

LOL, I was going to make an RPG. But then I came across this one made in Unity3D:

Anyway, keep it up its looking really good.
Those guys use Scaleform GFX, so of cource their UI is going to look better than most peoples.

Subscribe!Coming along nicely!

Why’d you change from the stylized blocky dude art style? I kinda think it looks better with the environment/makes the game stand out from the pack.

I agree. I thought that it was sorta a downgrade from video 1 to video 2… I still love the way the last part of the second one looks though so keep it up:)

You guys are crazy. I like the newest video better. I’ve been following Ben since his first video.

His art IS unique, not blocky like Minecraft, however, not “trying” to be too realistic like an Oblivion remake. He’s got his own style and it fits.

Keep up the great work Ben.

I think the blocky was more stylized and cooler

I’m happy with how it looks, i have had this planned for months so its all coming together nicely for me. Thanks anyway.

Hehe, yeah that first character is cute (actually reminded me more of sackboy than minecraft) - but it’s good to see something evolve. Actually, that’s one of the most satisfying things about developing - it’s always worth keeping incremental screens / vids to look back on and remind yourself of the journey. It’s looking good, keep up the hard work

I love your style and I swear it’s been more than 4 months! I always look forward to your updates, thanks for finally updating the showcase rather than the what you’ve been doing thread.
