Hi, i am a new user here but i have made games before in 2D and can also code a bit with C++ and LUA etc but have yet to learn Unity script but it looks like quite a simple format. I am using the free version for now also.
I am wondering though if there is any tutorials based around RPGs to make games like Dragon Quest, FF and Chrono Cross etc? i am guessing the answer is yes but i have yet to find out some good websites for content/tutorials so i was wondering if anyone could help.
Also does anyone know if it is possible to layer 3d over a full 2D or no lighting plane in the style of FF7? Basically i was thinking of mixing 3d models with a drawn/rendered background. i am guessing the answer is yes again as i think this app does 2D games but i have yet to find any info about this.
