Tbh, I was a little put off by the control. Would it be possible to have the movement be directly correlated to the finger’s position so you can slow down, speed up or stop?

The movement is determined automatically depending on the position of the character.
Unfortunately, you can’t slow down, speed up or stop - game’s mission is hide from the ghosts, adjustiong to the current speed and situation. Thank you for answer!
