Hi, after a long while of absence from the forum I’ve restarted to develop something tailored almost at all to mobile market… Well, it’s the future, I suppose (isn’t it for us small developers?)…
Anyway, I’ve managed to (almost) finish my first working prototype of endless platformer (thanks mostly to the “runner” code from catlikecoding - a very good sample of good programming and surely a fine guy that shares his valuable knowledge with us noobs Runner, a Unity C# Tutorial).
I’m going to show off some brief screenshot and a gameplay video from my youtube channel. I think that the game, whilst extremely simple (aimed at casual gaming so virtually no learning curve) is fun and addicting.
You may want to check to give me some constructive criticism :)…

And from my twitter one x.com
Done in Unity 3.5.7 and Ngui 2.7, probably rapidly switching to 4.6.
Thanks to everyone who will take to time to review !!!
Game almost finished, after countless hours of optimization. Now it runs smoothly even on low end android devices…
Will hit Google Play Store in a matter of days then hopefully in Apple store. Even if it’s probably nothing special it’s my first baby…

Hey Aspide - I commented on another similar side scrolling vehicle game on here before. That game had more functionality / game mechanics than Run4Fun currently does, but the lack of vehicle dynamics/physics result in the same reaction I had to there game.
The vehicle lacks vehicle dynamics/mechanics which make it look stiff and unpolished.
Here is an over exaggeration of the vehicle dynamics I’m talking about. Over exaggeration but with if you could add in some vehicle reaction to the terrain, speed, bumps and other obstacles I think it would improve the visual quality.
Here is the game the vehicle dynamics in Run4Fun reminded me of.
theANIMATOR2b, sorry for this late response and many, many thanks for taking time to review my game.
Unfortunately there must be something wrong with my notifications since no mails was delivered by Unity forums…
I see your point and it’s a very good point. Looking at the other game it seems I absolutely must add vehicle dynamics !!!
The overall feel is really better !! I will surely update rapidly my game with your advices !!
Thanks again !!!
