Running a new build for a deployed Steam game

Hi,
We built and deployed a VR game to Steam a while ago and are working on an updated version. However, when I create a new build locally and run it, it boots the version from my Steam library!

I tried incrementing version number, etc. How can I get around this? I need to have Steam running for Steam Stats, etc.

Ah! Needs the steam_appid.txt file in the root build folder.
