Running unit tests from visual Code

It looks like this question might have been asked in a few different ways. But doesn’t appear to be any answers to it.

I’m using Unity 2018.2 and Visual Code 1.28.0 for Mac, In visual studio Code I see the option to Run Test over each test method. Every time I use that I get the following error.

MSBUILD : error MSB1011: Specify which project or solution file to use because this folder contains more than one project or solution file.

I can run the tests from Unity which is great but can take some time switching back and forth. I am using assemblies so I assume I need to figure out how to tell VS Code to use the proper Assembly? Any direction would be appreciated!

Turns out the most easy way to debug a UNITY test is to:

  1. Set a breakpoint in the test you want to debug.
  2. Attach the debugger to the Unity editor.
  3. Fire the test manually in the editor → This will trigger the breakpoint.

Any luck with this so far? im also having this issue, i think its because of multiple .CSPROJ files in the same project folder.
Any idea how to specify which one to use for unit testing?

Thank you!
