I know that applying UV map at runtime is not an easy task but I am interested to spend some time working on it.
Please, can you give me some suggestions or links to resources and algorithms to apply uv mappings (planar, cubic, cylindrical and spherical) to a generic mesh?
I’ve also asked this same question and people don’t know the answer…or they are just not helping. Have you found out how to uv map a sphere? I can UV a cube but a sphere is proving to be difficult for me. But I’m also creating a sphere through script at runtime.
