So I’m working on this weird exploration game which started with me basically just morphing a sphere and making it wiggle. I really like how it felt to control and it feels much better in a big open space, however now I am faced with the challenge of giving the player a purpose. Do you think I should keep going down this path of wide open spaces or instead try to have the player move around a more traditional level?

Any feedback is appreciated

I would suggest it wiggled around on a plane but keep the wide open space above. Maybe make it a snake traveling through grass…

It makes me think of an eel or leech.
Maybe water or a pond?

Who wouldn’t want to play as an electric eel? :sunglasses:

Make some sort of vague sperm game that offends the entire world while meaning well enough, all the while pretending to have some sort of morgan freeman narrative, but not really.

Nah if you really want the outrage, made something that glorify menstrual period or tickling vagina (remember when that ubi soft employee made the very metaphorical lapis at GDC?), there is already many sperm games, people are desensitized.

Alternately - Candiru.
Nobody can be desensitized about that monster! :hushed:

A lot of very different paths to go down then haha

Looks and moves very much like a nematode worm.
Game could be “SUPER NEMATODE 2020” release it in 2018; likes it’s from the future!

Think I am going for a collection of relaxing mini games

Yes you can polish a turd

Honestly, just make a whole bunch of cash from this and laugh at the world, from your exclusive island location with suitable drink of course.

The aesthetic is great and soothing, minimalist palettes. I’m sure they’ll appeal to a lot of people.

Haha Thanks for the kind words
