Hello, a silly question…is there a way to look at only assets that are on sale? It seems that I have seen it before but it doesn’t seem available all the time.

That’s because there’s no sale going on right now… just this 24 hour deal:
When there’s a full sale with multiple packages there will be an orange bar on the right that will show you everything that’s on sale.

Sure ok, and I get that. But what about price cuts by the sellers themselves? There are so many assets available, they are hard to find.
What I do is type sale, discount, off in the asset store search for those. I also look at the asset store forum.

I’ve done some of that myself. I do think it would be nice to have a list of all discounted items though.
I agree. I very frequently purchase assets that are discounted if I can see myself even considering their use or think they would be fun to putter around with. But unless it’s the daily deal or some Unity special, it requires a lot of effort to find them.
I think it’s very odd that instead of letting sellers set a discount % off a regular price and let the items show up in a discounted items filter, the sellers have to change the regular price and hope that people somehow notice. Sure, there’s possibility for abuse (someone leaves their asset “discounted” permanently), but there are ways to deal with that. (i.e. scheduled discounts with limits on length, an automated warning and removal of the asset if the seller violates terms, etc.)
