Is there anything I need to do to make Samsung devices recognize my game as a game, and automatically enable game tools for it, as well as include it in the list of games in the Game Launcher?
I see that games built in Unity that I download from Google Play automatically get recognized as games, but whenever I build my game to a Samsung device, it never gets recognized.
Could it be because the game is deployed through an .apk file and not installed from the Google Play store? Any experiences?
Actually, I released my game a few weeks ago. At first, it was still showing the edge panel, and wasn’t showing game tools or showing up in the game launcher. But after a few days, it suddenly started showing up in the game launcher and applying all the game tools to it. So, it’s all automatic, you don’t need to do anything in particular.
Having the same issue. I looked on Samsung’s website about this and it seems games launcher checks approved app stores for the game icon. I think my problem might be the game is not live yet however I’ll find out soon as I plan to release it. I’ll update if that fixes my issues.
