"Satan's Zombies"

Hi Guys,

I’m pleased to announce our latest game, “Satan’s Zombies”, it’s an attempt to capture the cheesiness of classic B grade flicks complete with lots of destruction, blood, flying limbs and bouncing heads.

We are now allowing people to test the game, please PM me your UID so I can add you to testflight! The game is still has a lot of work left to do on it but hopefully we can gain some valuable feedback for new features and bug fixes leading up to the release!

*New Update:

We’ve made lots of updates to the game, hoping to start getting art work in (so no more place holders) soon and begin balancing out the game more

Updated video to show the new action cam feature!

The addition of other bikers really made a difference. Any plans for more weapons variation? I’m getting a road rash / rock’n roll racing vibe from this game

We have a lot of ideas for weapons and similar unfortunately no budget to make them happen (the project is in enough jeopardy as it is because of budget, we’re not even sure how we’re going to save up enough money to pay for audio at this point :-/)

Our plan is to release the game and hopefully if it makes enough money we’ll release many updates with new weapons and things, we’d love to make this a more ‘bad ass’ sort of game than it already is, things like chains, metal pipes, shotguns and similar are all things we’d love to add but for the time being we’re trying to make the best game we can with our limited resources!

Unfortunately 3D modellers and animators are not cheap and you kind of need them to help you create new weapons and things to do in the game.

Road Rash is definitely starting to become an inspiration for this game

Currently we’re working on adding a ‘awesome meter’ to the game, the game ends when your ‘awesome meter’ hits zero so you have to constantly be wrecking things and taking down rivals to keep your ‘awesome meter’ up, once that’s done we’ll do a beta test with the community, get some feedback and go from there.

Ah, budget problems sucks :\

But it can definitely be a fun game, even if you can’t put every planned feature in it!

Absolutely!

Actually the budget restrictions may even help, we’re not that experienced in 3D games development so a limited budget forces us to limit our scope and hopefully what little we do deliver is more fun as a result.

And as I said, once we get the game out if it proves to be popular and makes some money we can pay for new assets and add more features to the game and release it for free, so the game can definitely grow with time!

Have you thought of trying to bring on an artist with a % of the profits.

Most artists who are well qualified avoid % deals, it kind of makes sense as they have all probably been burned some time in their past. Otherwise it would be great to have someone helping for a % split…

i think the game is pretty nice, i just think you should add a occlusion map , it would make the scene mor darker, it has no shadows at all

It’s actually a mobile game so occlusion maps would probably hurt the performance quite a bit.

due to budgeting art is not the strong point of this game sadly (right now there are no 3D artists working on the project at all), we will try to make it look a bit nicer before release though!

Did you make Highway rider? The characters look a lot like that game.

Ah no this is actually our first 3D game and I think if we made highway rider we wouldn’t have budget issues right now hehe

We might have used the same 3D artist as Highway rider though (but this is just speculation).

Yes, the red rider looks exactly the same, as well as how he’s shaking his fist  good luck on your game!

just updated the main post with new info, screenshots and video!
