Save Project

Hi all, I’ve actually already developed and released a Unity game so you would think that this question is a pretty strange one to ask at this point in my Unity evolution but - What exactly does ‘Save Project’ do??

As far as I can tell, when you change or update files/folders in the project view these are permanent changes as soon as the update is made. ie you don’t need to hit ‘save project’.

…and when I want to scene data I just use save scene’

So what gives?

Am I just having a lapse of mental-ness today?

My guess is that it saves the project-specific settings you can tweak from the Edit menu but to give weight to the question I would be interested in the final answer as well.

A save all button would be neat. No need to worry about this question anymore ^^
