Scaled objects and Baked Shadows

Hi, does anybody know why shadows get so blured when scaling up/down objects? I have tried with 2 same floor objects and 2 columns at different scales, and shadow projected is different. What would be the way to solve it without having to make a new model outside unity (say Maya or 3DMax)?

What you are seeing is expected: scaling objects increases their texel size, which results in a loss of detail. You can verify that yourself by switching to Baked Lightmap scene visualization mode.

In order to unify texel size across your objects, you could try tweaking Scale In Lightmap parameter in the Mesh Renderer component of your mesh. Please use Bake Lightmap view to help you out with this.
