I’m new to Unity and just recently started to learn it. I would like to know how can I tackle the situation with scaling and how real objects and buildings can look from a 1st person POV. I have already read a few things regarding this and how it is arbitrary as well as 1 unit considered 1 meter. Is it just based on perspective rather than a rule? Is there any certain process or way to follow in order to make things look considerably realistic?
I have already tried to create a building from a log home company that showcase their floorplans/house dimensions. With this I thought of converting to meters and creating the building in unity that way. But I think it’s too specific. The terrain was too large and every object (floor, stairs, roofing) was too small to “look real” so I double and sometimes tripled its size
any help/suggestions would be appreciated
thanks
