Apparently wheel colliders can only work if their scale and all parents’ scale is 1,1,1; but sometimes it might be necessary to scale a car model (i.e. to make it smaller and use it in AR app setup).
I tried to scale the model down and actually wheel colliders start to misbehave…
How can this problem be solved?
Yea … nope. Dont do it.
Scale the base fbx (model) in the settings and decide on your scale, before you do any of your physics work and start adding colliders.
That’s fine, but what about a model that is not fox but is downloaded from the asset store and is already in the form of a textured GameObject? How can it be resized and kind of “bake” it at scale 1,1,1?
again, check the package you installed. The model is in there somewhere. Scale it, remake the prefab.
