I’m having some weird issue with the scene view. It seems that not all objects are rendered in the scene view, although they are visible in the game view. See the attached screenshot i made from the bootcamp demo. The soldier is rendered in the game view, but in the scene view he is not visible. Exception to this is that the wireframe is drawn if you select the soldier in the hierarchy view.
It got worse with own projects that I created, in those I could not get anything to be displayed in the scene view. Example: Create new project → Empty scene is created → Create GameObject - Cube → Cube is displayed in game view, but not in the scene view.
I can only guess it might be an issue with my graphics card, unsupported shader functions or something like that. Here are my specs:
Core 2 Duo P8600@2.4 Gh
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
4 GB Ram
Windows Vista SP1 32-bit
Latest graphics driver is installed, just updated after having this issue.
I must have accidently deactived the “Default” layer for the scene view camera. So if something is missing in your scene view, check if the respective layers are actually visible.
Hello there.
I had the same problem (but with all layers activated), I only can see these object (some simple cubes) in my build (oculus go).
But can’t see them in scene view/game view.
This happens only sometimes.
