I’m having an issue with Unity having switched up my mouse button movement. I used to be able to rotate around an object by hitting the middle mouse button but now it only pans. Is there some shortcut I’ve accidentally pressed and how do I revert back?
And so that nobody gives me this advice, I have not locked rotation in the Scene View.
I think you’re confused with another program, perhaps Blender3D? Middle mouse in Unity has always panned for me… to orbit an object it has always been hold ALT (see the cursor turn into an eye) and then left drag.
In unrelated-to-Unity news, have you tried the newest Blender, like after 2.8? I’ve been using Blender for about a decade, and I’m blown away by how much better it is now all around. I’m using 2.91.0 and still finding my way around, but it is WAY better than the older one, which was also amazing in its own right.
