anyone interested in this scifi model pack im making? what do u think is a good asking price?
heres a screen of the current state
currently done:
a fps animated pulse rifle with a 3rd person character for the player
a desert terrain mesh with shader
a flying tower
a animated hover bike with character
Show some images of these. I like the style and the detail on the fps hands looks quite nice, as much as can be seen anyway.
Nice - I like the characters. I think the hover bikes could benefit from some kind of tattered racing stripes or something to break up the battered chrome material. Overall well done.
I have no clue for an appropriate asking price.

Fantastic style, reminds me of Destiny but it has even more of that retro look. I agree with @theANMATOR2b , I think the bikes could do with some detail concentration to give the eyes a definite place to focus on.
I also have no idea what asking price, but as an artist I know how much work goes into art so my guess would probably be higher than most people’s.
However my advice would be to focus on utility rather than price. People will pay an incredible lot for something that perfectly fits their needs, and hammer a free product if it lacks something. So for me the most obvious thing is that your pack could be more complete, something that it could conceivably fill out a demo or short game (for the categories of objects that you’re doing). So maybe a few weapons/grenades etc, a few close-matching characters, and maybe another vehicle or two. The fact that it has a pretty unique style makes this even more important IMO.

i kinda like the overall chrome material, the models are clean UV mapped so adding your own stripes should be pretty easy.
@Billy4184 i agree about making the pack more complete, i was allready thinking of adding 4 more weapons(a pistol, a melee weapon, a sniper, and a shotgun)and 1 more vehicle. it would be cool to make it a minigame, however i suck at coding
I also like the chrome, but I think it lacks a place where your eyes can focus on, the detail is too uniform. Adding some engine details I think would really make it much more pleasant to look at.
I don’t think that it is wise to sell art as a minigame, although I could be wrong. The thing is, someone has probably coded a much more comprehensive, generic system for that genre and you would have to compete with that. My advice would be to present the models as if it were a game in the images (which you’ve pretty much done) so that a developer could look at it and say “allright, all I have to do is code the combat or buy UltimateFPS or whatever and I could get a good start on my game with that art pack”. The idea is that it is obvious from looking at the screenshots how far the art pack could be taken in terms of building a game or level.
