Is there a Scottish based user group at all? or anyone want to start one if not? must be some companies/universities/individuals out there looking to collaborate etc?

Sure.
I mentioned it because IGDA tends to form a central hub for game devs in a region. If the group already exists, IDGA will know about it. If the group doesn’t exist, IDGA will be a great place to reach out to other locals to recruit members.
