I want crispy 30fps screen capture to show my unity game on youtube, how is it done? :o
You can use fraps
As I know FRAPS don’t compress video during recording. I think this is the best recorder: http://zdsoft.com/ it has special style for recording: desktop recording, video recording and game recording
I use Fraps, it’s not a problem it doesn’t compress the video that just makes it faster, I compress the video afterwards with say Ati converter, takes no time at all. Guess it comes down to whether you have a very fast HD, if not capture software that compresses on the fly might be faster for you. Iam assuming, maybe wrongly, that you are using a PC, not sure what you would do on a Mac but knowing Apple it probably has a very nice solution built in for such things.
For tutorials and stuff, I use camtasia. It was pretty cheap!
Fraps and Camtasia are both pretty good, although Camtasia has more options and comes with a video editing suite as well which can be pretty handy
It also has a zoom feature for when you want your video in 640X400 (or whatever youtube is) but you recorded bigger. It keeps your quality. It can also upload to an FTP location with an HTML file, the mp4 (changeable), and a custom skin flash player.
