Screen image freezes whenever lots of HDRP Decals are present in the screen fulstrum

The rest of the game (audio, scripting and all) runs normally, t’s just the image freezes until I look away or the decals (in this case, blood) fades. The decals themselves don’t seem to affect performance: I can be having 80+fps in a build, with lots of decals in screen but once it reaches that “treshold” it starts to suddenly freeze.

What can be causing this? Also What is the XR error about? I don’t have anything related to XR enabled.

This issue happened in Release, Beta and Alpha (tested in all versions of Unity)

EDIT: I FOUND THE CULPRIT!

Disabling “affect transparent” solves this. What could cause it then? Is there any way to allow decals that affect transparency?

Does changing the decal atlas size improve anything?

No, it’s with any type of decal. It just seems to be tied to raw amount of decals.
