Script Reference PDF or WORD file?

I want to print all unity-script-reference, and want to see even if I am outside and can’t do computer or internet.

Where can I find?

Unity installs an offline version of it, go to Help->Scripting Reference

Also, in the Documentation folder (inside the Unity application folder) there is a file called printable.html - you can print this from the browser.

but there is only the Manual ,not the Scripting

There are almost 3,000 HTML pages in the ScriptReference. I’m not sure if that’s a feasible thing for you to print.

EDIT: If you still want to, you COULD select the files in Windows Explorer, right-click, and hit “Print”. But they would come out in alphabetical order and each page would have the header and navigation bars.

Printing to a PDF now but not going to post a link for it because at this point with only 1100 pages printed to a PDF it is over 60 megs, so I am thinking it will take close to 300 megs when it is done, not sure though, will post total file size for the PDF when it is done.

Forget it, my Adobe pro blew up at half a gig when converting to a PDF and didn’t finish, closed, and lost the conversion. I wouldn’t bother.

Hope this help, that is a pdf I made around a year ago (~version 2.1) but I still use it day by day, especially make a lot note on the print out version :slight_smile:

I didn’t make everything in the pdf, the code samples portion are edited out, since that is too waste of papers. (in fact, the code samples are linked to my local web server, sorry that :p)

When version 3 come out I will make other one, also will make the links point to the better location for easy sharing :slight_smile:

Ps. I use Acrobat Pro 9 to do the conversion too. Does anyone could teach me how to batch convert the url links inside the pdf file? So that, I could make the above files more portable :slight_smile: Many Thanks !

I have make the “reference printable file” like the untiy3d’s printable file,this is produced by progam I wrote,just put it in your Install folder"/Editor/Data/Documentation/Documentation/Components". hope this can be helpful.
If I hava time ,I’ll try to make the Scripting one. Perhaps a few days later for I’m busy working on anther project now.

I know it’s a bit ridiculous, but I put the manuals on my iPad to thumb through while I’m away from the office / computer.
