Scripting a cinematic Unity game?

What’s up, bros?

I’m working on developing a cinematic game, but I can’t really get the cinematic part done. I want to know before getting too deep in the project, is Unity good for cinematic games?

Are you talking lots of cutscenes? Or lots of different camera movements and quicktime events etc?

I’m very new, as you can probably see from my profile, but if you have Unity Pro, cutscenes would be fine. It would be all about making the cutscenes that would be difficult, actually putting them into Unity is the easy bit.

However, if you’re talking about quicktime events (eg. Battlefield 3) or various camera movements as the player is, well, playing then that would be a bit harder. Really, it’s all about the skill of the person making it, I’m sure Unity would be able to do it, but it might be difficult making a whole game like that. But of course, I don’t know how much experience you have with scripting.

Probably hasn’t helped much, I just wanted an input

It did help. Thanks, bro. I’ll make sure to check out Pro!
