Are their any guides on scripting that go into it a bit more than the one on the main unity site?
I went through that tutorial in like an hour and it didnt help me enough, plus I cant pay any money so the ones that cost money on Unity-tutorials or w/e wont help.
Which tutorial did you go through? There are multiple tutorials available on the site (the ‘Lerpz’ tutorial the FPS tutorial among them), and working through those should really give you a pretty good start.
The ‘Tornado Twins’ tutorials are also mentioned around here frequently (although I haven’t seen them myself).
There’s also quite a bit of example code available on the Wiki, I think.
Beyond that, I’d recommend just diving in and then posting here if you run into problems. Tutorials can be helpful, but the best thing to do is just start coding, IMO.
and if you want to learn C# instead of unityscript, you can check out burgzergarcade´s tutorials, he has quite many of them.
