Scroll big plane

Hi,
suppose you have a big 3d big plane and a camera and i want scroll this plane with my iPad touch screen by scrolling it with my finger, which one is the best to code:

  1. join the big 3d plane with my finger movement
    or
  2. join the camera with my finger movement

Number 2, unless you also make everything you put on the plane its children. But then you’d be creating another coordinate system, so you may have to code things differently. Generally not worth it.
