Scroll wheel

So i am aware that there are problems with the magic mouse and the scroll wheel function… So i went out and bought a Logitech mouse to replace it…

I have the same problem with it… it works for all the editing etc but does not work in a Unity Project.

I sent a test build to a friend with a Mac and it worked fine for him. He has a MS mouse.

Does anyone know how to get this working? Are there work arounds to this with the magic mouse or a logitech mouse? Is there something special that i have to do with the driver?

Trying to figure out how to kill the driver and software from Logitech and see if the built in ones work better.

It’s probably the Logitech drivers. You don’t need them, and the scroll wheel will work fine without them. If you still want some mouse-enhancement utility, SteerMouse works correctly with Unity, and USB Overdrive does not.

HEHE So i just found the uninstall and rebooted and now you are correct it works just fine… Cool…

So SteerMouse is a utility to change my mouse settings? I was just saying that it is great that it works now but sucks i cant change any of my setting for my mouse.

Thanks Alot!!! i will look at that.

So i assume that this is a Unity thing or a bad drivers from Logitech thing? Because the mouse works for everything else… And if i have people using my software what do i tell them?

Tried SteerMouse and it works cool. Good stuff.

Thanks again!!!

But what do i tell my customers?
