Seams on cylinders?

I use blender to do any animation/modeling. And one thing that has been bugging the heck out of me is how I get a seam on every texture that I want to apply to a cylinder. Why does it do that? I mostly use the cylinder from view projection, and then scale the UV unwrap on the X aaxis to wrap a border or trim around the cylinder. But that always leaves a seam in the middle which is bugging me. So I would like some help on how to prevent this from happening.

Are you saying that you’re seeing the seam already in Blender?

Regards, Robert

yes ill post a screenshot asap

Well in the mean time!

What did you do to NOT have visible seams inside of blender?
I mean it is usual to have visible seams were the wrapped texture meets unless you do something to avoid it.
I don’t know blender so I also don’t know if there are any handy tricks inside the program to prevent having them.
If you are painting in PS then you could offset the texture and make you texture seamless using the clone tool for instance.
Then you will need to align you Uv’s with your texture inside Blender I guess.

All the best, Robert
