search: t:li doesn't list all components that start with "li" when typed in the hierarchy search

that was discussed and agreed on a few years ago, that imbedded search would get queries, wild card and incomplete terms.
In 2022 neither are supported.

Preferences->Search lets you set which search engines are used for different searches. If you set them to “advanced” rather than “classic”, what you’re asking for works.

How do you like the new queries and search functions and which ones do you use the most in production?

I don’t really use them a lot. I use the fact that I don’t have to perfectly match names a ton, though.

There’s a few things we would’ve used - like searching for references to objects - that we built solutions to years ago that I’m just more used to using.
