Actually, I’m not sure what I’m looking for and that is the gist of my problem.
I have a map (made with Unity) and I want to be able to move around with the mouse and/or the keyboard and scroll in and scroll out with the mouse. I’ve been searching for some examples of what other coders have done…usually if I see some examples I can start to figure out how to code what I want.
Except, I’m not sure what I’m looking for. For example, is it called a “camera cradle” or a “camera controller” or what have you.
I’ve downloaded some of the free camera stuff from the unity store but that is mostly “Follow something on the ground” and that is not really what I’m looking for…I need a free roaming overhead camera that I can zoom in/out and move around and change directions and so on. I don’t need anyone to write any code for me I just need a direction in which I can begin my search.
