Second Camera isn't working


So I’m making an FPS game and I’m using layer masking to help with the clipping issue of the gun with other objects. I have the gun on a layer called “gun” and a second camera that can only see this layer and the main camera cannot see this layer; however, when I spawn into the game, I can’t see anything on the gun layer. Is there a way to check if the camera is working on start up or have I done something wrong?


make sure your gun camera is set to “Depth only” and has a higher depth value

Is the second camera untagged and a child of the MainCamera?
Also you should set your camera to Depth Only and it should have a Depth value bigger than the main camera.
