See through cave?

I’m having a problem in Maya. I’ve modeled myself what I consider to be a pretty nice cave out of a simple box just using like extrude mostly, the cave looks fine in Maya, but when I load it to unity the floor and walls are transparent from the inside and only visible from the out. What am I doing wrong?

You need to invert normals in Maya.

How do I do that? I have my normals like sticking out, but not sure how to invert them

I’m using Maya 2009.

Make sure you’re in the Polygons menu. Then go look at the top menu bar and go to Normals > Reverse. See image below.

Make sure you have the object selected in Maya first. You can also just select specific faces if you don’t want to reverse the normals on the entire object.

Hope that helps!
