seeing errors when posting in the forum

For about a week I’ve been seeing random errors posting in the forum.

There are two major times I see it:

  • sometimes when quoting an existing message (quote fail)
  • sometimes when typing and the autosave feature triggers (save fails)
  • sometimes at the moment of posting (post fails)

In most cases I have been able eventually to proceed by reloading and re-pasting the text in.

This is a save-draft failure:

In a few cases this just will not work. This morning I could never quote this message:

I’m gonna tag @lordofduct here as lord has seen it too, and we had talked via PM a day or so about this problem.

As this is obviously not something fixable in userland, I’m going to tag a few great Unity folks from here just to make sure it gets some visibility: @MelvMay and @JeffDUnity3D

Hey - it’s a known issue: [Bug] [Needs to be adressed] Access denied

Thankfully, our webteam found out what the issue is and are working with vendors to fix.
