I am extremely new to Unity and would love some advice on how to create a realistic wheel of fortune prize wheel. Currently I have a cylinder flattened down with small cylinders on the outside as pegs. Then I have one cube turned into a small rectangular stick that is set up to be hit by the pegs on the outside of the wheel. Currently my wheel has rigidbody attached to it and will have a certain initial force applied to it. The pegs are children of the wheel and do not have any rigidbody components but they do have colliders. The stick is a rigidbody with a collider as well. The basic hit works ok but I can’t get the stick to bend with the peg. Also I have a problem where the pegs fly right through the stick sometimes…
The stick should have one end that is fixed in place but it should behave similar to rubber or some flexible surface. The stick should be hit by the pegs and bend with them but then bounce back into place afterwards.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
