Seeking Video Tutorials on Unity

I’m new to Unity. I have no coding background, but I do have 3d training in modo and photoshop.

I want to learn by doing.

First step, I would like to view ‘video tutorials’ on how to make a small simple shooter with Unity. I did a search on Youtube for Unity videos, but a thousand videos showed up. I need to narrow this down.

Can someone point me to the best 3 or 4 Unity video tutorial sources? Perhaps one of these sources already has a video series on how to make a small shooter.

I have found that I learn best by making something first by watching videos, and then by studying the text manuals second.

If you are 100% new to programming. Check out the c# intro tutorials by ACEM. Then check my tutorials. I do a start to finish space shooter game. Very interactive. I myself learn by doing :wink:

Gamer To Game Developer is what you want! It shows both Networking and Shooting and also the use of Master Server. But if you are heading towards Single Player, theres Tornado Twins

PS - GTGD is working on Series2 and he said( the author )that will make some basic animation, character, models, rigging tutorials into the net project
