Select version when opening tutorial (unity learn) project

Since the “preferred version” feature got removed I don’t see a way to open a tutorial project with a specific version. In another post a Unity Team Member explained why the “preferred version” was removed. His reasoning was mostly sound but he also said that there is no reason to open a tutorial project with a version other than the last installed. But actually there is a reason for this. The latest version I have is 2019.3 but the tutorial project “2D Game Kit” supports 2017.3 to 2019.2. So I most definitely need to select version while opening a tutorial project. Every version manager program should always allow to change the version to open/create a new project. Plz help. I am that close to uninstall 2019.3.

I uninstalled 2019.3. It did not help. When I try to open the project I get a pop-up saying that it needs version 2019.3 to open. I am in a deadlock.

Same problem here downloaded the personal downloader instead of the /download-nuo before seeing the tutorial so I have the 2019 one forgot it watched the premium tutorial and tried to finish the platformer and I had a bug choosing a color can’t click on the color panel or anything unless I clicked on a number so I guess that’s a problem with version, downloaded 2018.4.20f and tried to select version before opening platformer game can’t find any way to do it unless after the file is opened which probably corrupts it and it says it does… oh just uninstalled 2019 one now It says gotta install it back can’t play on 2018.4… I did it the wrong way ok? but add some flexibility to things instead of having me download it all over again and now the files might be mixed I don’t how much errors and crashes the leftovers will create in future builds it’s such limitations already showing to me what I should expect in this engine and not giving a good image.
